Immediate opening for an experienced Associate to join our growing national immigration practice.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate is is fluent in both Spanish and English, possesses 1-2 years of immigration law experience (preferably deportation-removal defense), and is admitted to practice in any state or U.S. territory (NY State preferred). S/he has experience dealing with Federal Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Department of Homeland Security; specifically, appearing for Master Calendar Hearings and Hearings on Merits, attending U.S.C.I.S. interviews, and writing briefs on immigration-related matters.

The successful candidate has a genuine passion for protecting the rights of foreign-born individuals in the United States, and a deep interest in making a long-term commitment to our well-respected and rapidly growing practice. S/he is an absolute team player with a demonstrated record of achievement; genuinely enjoys working with people and is committed to excellent client service; is well organized and self-motivated; possesses excellent written and spoken communication skills; is fluent in technology, particularly the Microsoft Office suite; and able to successfully manage an independent caseload.
